His new books...

Have always loved the Scholastic set of books that the Little One has. And thankfully, he likes them too :) He has 2 sets, one which is a First Words series and the other, a collection of old time stories like The Three Little Pigs.



About 2 weeks ago, the Big One and I were both on leave so decided to send the Little One to school whilst we try to shop at Taka. Had to get some baby stuff plus visit Kino. And at this visit, i saw a set that i had to get for the Little One!

:) wanted to wait till xmas and give it to him as a xmas pressie but couldn't contain myself! So i opened the set and have started reading it to him :) So far so good, he has his favourite stories as usual. And it is now a bedtime routine for him to read the books before nights off! I don't think he can recongise the words and is "read" it out of memory but am still happy at that :) He can read some titles already like "bubbles" and "in the playground", only becos i think he can associate that with his favourite activities.

Daddy and i have avid readers and i hope the Little One will develope the same interest too!
